Get CyberSavvy! is a tour of the Internet for parents, children, educators and librarians, produced by The DMA as a public service educational program. The DMA is the largest trade association for direct marketers, including more than 3,600 companies as well as non-profit and public organizations in the United States and 49 other countries. Get CyberSavvy! helps families learn how information flows online so they can use the Internet in ways that protect their privacy and well-being. It also encourages parents and children to be aware of and express their preferences about the information that is collected online and how it is used. Get CyberSavvy! is one of several DMA initiatives aimed at promoting consumer choice and advocating industry self-regulation.

Children's Advertising Review Unit (CARU)
CARU was founded 20 years ago by members of the advertising industry to promote truthful and accurate advertising to children in all media, including television, print, radio and the Internet.
CARU is a unit of the Council of Better Business Bureaus, Inc. (CBBB) and operates under the direction of the National Advertising Review Council which is a strategic alliance of the CBBB and the American Association of Advertising Agencies (AAAA). If advertising is found to be inaccurate, misleading or inconsistent with the Self-Regulatory Guidelines for Children's Advertising, CARU works to seek changes through voluntary cooperation of the advertiser.
